Heute ist mein....
und ich freue mich euch mein Top zeigen zu können.
Für meine "Hochstapeleien" habe ich zum größten Teil Reststoffe genommen die von ihrer Größe her perfekt passten.
Es hat wirklich viel Spaß gebracht diese PP-Vorlage zu nähen, obwohl ich eh voreingenommen bin da ich sowieso sehr gerne (und viel ) Paper-/Foundation Piecing nähe. ;-)
Zu dieser tollen Technik bin ich vor ca. 6 Jahren durch eine begeisterte Patchworkerin gekommen die mir sehr geduldig geholfen hat. An der Nähmaschine sitze ich allerdings schon viel länger.
Bereits als Kind habe ich gerne meiner Mutter über die Schulter geguckt wenn sie gestrickt, gehäkelt oder genäht hat. Eine lange Zeit habe ich dann überwiegend gestrickt, was wohl auch daran liegt das ich meine Jugend in den 80´er Jahren verbringen durfte. *ggg*
Nach der Geburt meines ältesten Sohnes fing ich dann 1991 mit dem Nähen von Kleidung an. Solange meine Kinder klein waren blieb ich dabei bis ich dann das erste Mal Quilts auf einer Ausstellung gesehen hatte.
Der Virus hatte mich befallen und so befinden sich heute nur noch relativ wenig Bekleidungsstoffe in meinem Nähzimmer. Der größte Teil der Regale wird inzwischen von Patchworkstoffen, Büchern und Zubehör in Beschlag genommen. ;-)
Meine allererste eigene Nähmaschine wird inzwischen fleißig von meinem jüngsten Sohn genutzt und es freut mich ungemein wenn ich sehe wie mein 11 jähriger Sohn bereits routiniert mit dem Rollschneider umgehen kann.
Für Patchworknachwuchs ist also gesorgt!!! :-))
